Going into the quarterfinals matchup of the ATP Sony Ericsson Open, Andy Roddick had a lone win against #1 seed Roger Federer. But after a hard aggressive 1st set, Roddick was up on the Swiss player. After losing a sloppy second set, Roddick took care of business and beat Federer in the 3rd set. Andy finally showed he could play up to his potential, but that boost over Federer must've jinxed Roddick or something, because he lost the next match to Nikolay Davydenko in the semis. Maybe hope for Andy Roddick will finally kick in because of that win over Fed.
