As a Providence College fan it hurts that the Friars are having trouble finding a new head basketball coach. The Friars have been looking for weeks and coaches such as Jim Larranaga the head coach at George Mason have turned the job down.

I believe Providence would be a good fit for a coach like Travis Ford who took Umass to the NIT championship this past week. As a fan I would love to see a certain alum of Providence, currently calling Gainesville, FL home to consider the job. With the sucsess he has had there and the fact that PC could not pay him enough, this will most likely remain a fantasy.

You'll get your guy. We went through the same thing last year at Iowa. Now we have a guy who is a great fit for our program.

Good blog. Just have patience. You will hopefully get someone that fits your program very well.
