As the end of the NBA regular season draws closer, one thing has become very clear to me. The Cavs are playing like they where eliminated from the playoffs two weeks ago. I was all for the change in the organization but I honestly thought the impact would be much greater then this. At the begining of the season I was hoping for an improvement from last season, even if that meant only winning one game in the Finals. Now, with five games left in the season the best we can do is 47-35. But if you look at the next five game I really don't see that happening.....the games are as follows and in this order, New Jersey (0-3), @ Chicago (1-2), Miami (2-0), @ Philadelphia (1-1), and last but not least Detroit (1-2). Thats a combined record of 5-8 (.625). I am having a real hard time understanding what the real problem is. Now if you think about the trade. I was happy to rid of Hughes' poor play and B.S. contract, but I did not want to get rid of Gooden. I really want Big Ben to be healthy and do what everyone knows he's capable of doing, but only time will tell. I absolutly love Delonte's style of play I really think he is a key piece of the the future of this team. Joe Smith doesn't really fill up the stat sheet every night but his presence is known on the court. And Wally, I thought he was a "pure shooter", I really don't even want to go there right now. I am a huge Lebron fan and I really want to see him win a ring with and for Cleveland, but if his supporting cast can't be there everynight Cavs fans and Laker fans know what I'm talking about when I say "there is a Kobe situation starting to take shape in Cleveland" I really hope I'm wrong.
