After everything that's happend the last two years with our beloved Broncos, we could almost have a great new formula for a new reality television show.  There's more drama on this team than in any thespian society.  That being said, some things have been taken too far, and the facts need to be cleared up.

 1.  Brandon Marshall.  Two words: grow up.  Cutler said it, and I'm proud of him that he did.  This is the most important year for Jay as a quarterback.  It's time he steps up and takes responsibility for this team, and he did just that when he called out his number one target after a freak, immature accident tore apart his arm.  I know things happen, but come on you're how old?  Let's go Brandon we need you buddy!

 2. Money problems?  Okay so the real reason it turns out we signed Wiegman and let Myers go is because the Broncos offered Myers a multi-year contract but he ended up turning it down because there wasn't enough money involved.  I bet you anything he thrives on Kubiak's team in Houston.  Mark my words, Houston will be a playoff contender very soon.  Hamza Abdullah was also offered a contract, but he wanted to test the market.  Turns out no one is interested so I'm sure he'll stay a Bronco for a while.  But him not signing right off the bat is why we went after Manuel and Mcree.  I'm just worried about the state of our financial situation right now, since we couldn't give Elam, Myers, or Abdullah what they were looking for.  In my opinion players are getting paid too much as it is but hey, who am I right?

 3. Shanny's Shack.  It's no secret now that Shanahan bought a $16 million house.  But for those of you Shanahaters out there, you have to look at the reason.  He was offered $16 million for his house and property where he was currently living, when he only paid something like $6 million for it.  So if someone offers you that much for something you paid a fraction of it for, you take it.  Then taxes comes into play, so if Shanny were to buy a house for less than $16 million then he would be taxed up the wazoo on the amount he recieved from the buyer.  So don't bash Shanahan just because he has job security and someone was crazy enough to give him that much money for his house.

4. The Draft.  With Brandon Marshall's situation I wouldn't doubt we take a wide reciever first in the draft.  We can get offensive and defensive linemen further down in the draft.  I see us taking a wide reciever first, followed by an OL, a DT, and a MLB.

So anyways, just wanted to clear things up and put some of my opinions out there!  Let me know what you think!

Good blog, but a receiver with the first pick? Look at the history of Shanny picking wide receivers with high picks it ain't good. We'll pick Clady from Boise or Williams from Vandy maybe even the guy from Pitt...
