The Braves vs Rockies game for today obviously was postponed. It will be rescheduled for June 18th.

Braves also sent Chuck James back to the minors, and purchased the contract of Jorge Campillo from Richmond.

I like the idea of sending Chuck James down right away. This shows that the Braves don't want to mess around too much. You either perform....or you're going back down to Richmond.

you don't want to dig yourself too big of a hole right out of the gate. These games in April mean as much as the ones in late September.

Obviously Bobby and the Braves management saw something in James that they felt needed work on. I don't think they would have sent him down just for one bad outing.

I've seen Campillo pitch (albeit briefly).....he has a decent arm. I'm glad they sent James back to Richmond, but why not give Carlyle a chance? He was solid last year.....or Jo-Jo Reyes?
