Trevor Immelman.Ever heard of him?I'm not the golf enthusiast so I haven't.Let me not be the only one who is clueless.Usually there's Tiger,then there's everyone else.
Immelman outgolfed many to win golf's crowning achievement and its trophy:The green jacket.In being presented with the Green Jacket we are reminded of Zach Johnson's miracle run last year,punctuated by the collapse of Tiger.
Immelman is greeted by his wife,and young son.Me and my mom can't help but laugh as the kid crys because he wants his dad.
This never seemed to be that competitive,with a lead since day one,and Immelman playing consistent,great golf.Woods had an un-tigerlike +1 on sunday,as he finished three strokes behind.
Overall another name gos into the record book.Millions of Google searches,will occur with "Trevor Immelman" in the blank.He will be yet another golfer who is glorified by winning a major.Some people may actually recognize it!Hearing the golf anaylsts talking about his swing was interesting.Now because I'm not an avid golf fan I wouldn't know the difference,but he supposedly had the best stroke they had seen in a long time.
Well congrats Trevor.Another golf tournament has come and gone in Augusta,Georgia.Now who'll watch any golf after this?

Woods is a softie. He can't handle pressure when it's mounted on him; that's why he has never come back to win a major. I knew he wasn't going to win last year and this year because he has been so egregiously hyped. He's the world's best, I know, but that doesn't mean he is the best golfer EVERY time he hits the links.

Report Offensive CommentI don't watch golf anyway, regardless of what it is. There is nothing more mind-numbing than watching golf. But its still great when Tiger loses.
