For those who didn't get the chance to surf the net today, here are some top NFL articles hot off the presses. Okay they're not all that hot anymore, but just in case you missed it.
Despite his agent saying "Pacman" Jones would ask for reinstatement today, Pacman disclosed today on Michael Irvin radio show that he wold wait until he is traded. Some believe he should wait until Goodell tells him to reapply. The commissioner has made it clear that he will reinstate Pacman when he' damn good and ready. I haven't heard any news of Pacman frequenting strip-clubs lately, but that doesn't mean he isn't.
The 2008 NFL schedule has been released. The Cleveland Browns hit the jackpot with 5 primetime games. They will play 3 Monday night games, One Sunday night game and one Thursday night game on Thanksgiving. With all that exposure, here's their chance to show everyone what they're made of. They could be favored to win their division.
John Czarnecki of Foxsports.com reports that word on the street is the Jake Long doesn't want to play for Miami. Miami with the number one pick, is currently negotiating with Jake's agent. If talks break down, Miami may start looking at Vernon Gholston.
Reggie Bush tells the Baton Rouge Advocate, "I've got to get the crowd chanting MVP." At this point, getting the crowd to chant "competent NFL running back" would suffice. He has been a disappointment thus far. He's only a star because of the fanfare he got coming into the league, his production doesn't warrant it.

Pacman served his year suspension relatively trouble free. While I agree with waiting until training camp for the commish to make a final decision, Pac should be allowed to participate in off-season workouts and other programs in the interim.

I think he is working out at the Titans facility, but wasn't his suspension indefinite?.

No, he's been banned from the Titans facility by the NFL. A suspended player can't do anything at the teams facility without a waiver like Tank Johnson was given last year that allowed him to workout and attend team meetings while he was under suspension.
The suspension was a conditional 1 year. He was allowed to apply for reinstatement after 10 games last year but was denied. His 1 year was up last week, but he still has to apply for reinstatement and have it approved by Goodell because of the conditions attached that he stay out of trouble.

I agree about Reggie Bush...he isn't the kind of running back who you'd ever mistake as the guy in New Orleans. He's a much better change of pace back and I think thats all he'll ever be.

I am sooo tired of Pacman that at this point he could drop off the face of the earth, BUT to be fair, I'll wait for Goodell's decision on reinstatement before making any more comments.
Informative blog, thanks smoothsandy.

I'm not sure Pacman can stay out of trouble. He'll have to change the people he hangs out with.

I wouldnt called Reggie Bush a disappointment. He had a great rookie year splitting time with Duece and getting his team to the NFC Championship. Last year, Duece was hurt all season so everyone focused on Bush and Brees and Co. didnt step up on offense. Give the guy a break.
