I like Gholston to the Jets, I dont see him going any higher than that, the Numer 1 rumors to Miami are crazy....

Nobody on the current Raiders roster at HB can hold a candle to McFadden. Next.

April 16, 2008  04:21 PM ET

Jake Long, MIA
Chris Long, STL
Glenn Dorsey, ATL
Cedrick Ellis, OAK
Derrick McFadden, KC
Vernon Gholston, NYJ
Keth Rivers, NE
Leddis McKelvin, BAL

NE needs to replace that LB core, it's too old and has lost the talent they once had. They will take Keith RIvers to look for the future.

Atlanta can't worry about their QB woes now, they have to worry about building the dynasty up again, with a pick like Glenn Dorsey. With Dorsey, they prepare their run defense for the future, this is a horrible draft for QB's, they can't waste a pick that high on a risky QB.

Chiefs see that their RB stock is dropping. Larry Johnson isn't producing like he was, and Holmes is gone, they look to get their running game back on track.

With Dorsey gone, the Raiders take a stretch in getting Ellis. They have to realize that a few years ago they had one of the better pass defenses, their running D needs to be improved and fast.

Ravens see guys like McAllister and Rolle, getting old and look to younger CB talent.

This is probably not even close to what will happen (usually teams don't take the players they need)

McFadden would end the Justin Fargas saga and put less pressure on the need for O line as McFadden is dynamic and ran all over the world behind and Arkansas O line you would shake two sticks at.

Their need is Long and Dorsey, but Long will be long gone and Dorsey is an injury risk as he has had problems at the college level with the leg so imagine if your #4 overall goes down in injury flames. Wouldnt put it past an Al Davis draft pick. McFadden is as safe a pick as Adrian Peterson was for Minny last year and we saw what an awesome impact he had on their O despite the fact that Minny has no QB worth a ****.

The Raiders will take McFadden as they should. Once they do every other HB is trade bait.

April 16, 2008  04:35 PM ET

Raiders need D, McFadden isn't goin to be the star people think he will be. He'll be good, but you can't run with a bad line in the pros, it just don't work.

April 16, 2008  04:36 PM ET

Really, cuz McFadden ran behind a horrific line at the Saw just fine.

April 16, 2008  04:37 PM ET

Ask Barry Sanders if you need a good line to run behind in the NFL.

April 16, 2008  04:48 PM ET

Touche, still, Barry Sanders is one in a million, McFadden can't do what Barry did.

April 16, 2008  05:43 PM ET

If I was the ATL, I wouldnt go with Ryan. I would trade one of my mutiple 2nd rounders for a J.P. Losman, a Brady Quinn, or a Chad Pennington

April 16, 2008  05:55 PM ET

Good picks. Looking forward to 11-20.

April 16, 2008  08:27 PM ET

Problem is none of those teams can afford to let those QBs go Tyler.
