Charles McCarthy and Michael Bisping don't seem to like each other. And leading up to their fight this Saturday neither one of them has been too shy about expressing their thoughts. Let's just hope the trash talk translates into a great fight!

526 When McCarthy steps into the Octagon at UFC 83 it will have been (526) days since his last fight, a submission victory at 4:43 of round one over Gideon Ray at the TUF 4 Finale. The reason behind this long layoff makes the win that much more impressive...

4 Number of weeks (4) prior to the aforementioned fight with Gideon Ray, McCarthy suffered a torn ACL. After the win he went under the knife and spent six months out of action and another six to get back in the groove. Now McCarthy is matched up with 14-1 Michael Bisping and figures it's going to be no sweat, in an article at UFC.com by Thomas Gerbasi he said, "I am going to come in take him down, and submit him in the first round. I told you I was going to do that against Gideon and it happened, I'm letting you know it's gonna happen against Bisping, and I'd be surprised if anything else happens other than that."

4 Speaking of Bisping he has his own number (4), as in the number of times he has fought since Charles McCarthy's last bout. Bisping collected three victories before suffering a loss to Rashad Evans. That loss prompted him to make a move to....

185 The weight to which Bisping is dropping. He said of the move to middleweight, "I can't wait to put on a good performance and start my climb up the 185 lb rankings." He went on, "When I made the decision to come down, I warned family, friends and training partners to watch out for me to become a proper miserable SOB when making weight. I am a man who likes his food - which is part of the reason I liked 205lbs so much - and thought I'd turn into a right moaner this close to the weigh-in. But making weight has been so easy I can't believe it."

100 Percentage of Charles McCarthy's ten victories to come via submission. As stated earlier he plans on submitting Bisping fast, but Bisping plans on knocking McCarthy out and is not impressed with the man's submission prowess. He hilariously said on his ‘The Count'down to UFC 83 blog at UFC.com, "...next week's Countdown will be filed after I've come face-to-face with the reigning BJJ uber-master of the galaxy. If anyone wants me to ask him for an autograph for you, please email me, but keep your requests down to six per person."

643 Percentage (64.3) or nine of Michael Bisping's 14 wins to come via (T)KO. He also has one submission due to strikes. On Saturday he is obviously going to try to punch McCarthy in the mouth repeatedly.

This one pits to men against each other with completely different objectives. One wants to stay on his feet, the other is going to do everything he can to bring the fight to the ground. It will be interesting to see which one's game plan is successfully executed and which one gets stopped.
