It is getting that time of the week where i should write my notes on the MLB season so far. So here it goes.
The David Ortiz Factor

So far this season, he has been struggling madly. I have been listening to the radio lately and have heard callers say things such as "Ortiz may be done." and stuff like "Do you think Ortiz was on roids?" This just pisses me off. People who think these kind of idiotic things, good luck living in your basement. I really cannot stand. If you can remember, Ortiz had surgery on his knees on the offseason. If you don't play baseball, the knees are escential to being a good hitter. Ortiz is just having a bad time right now. He just can't seem to be able to turn on the ball yet. he turn it on by midseason.
The Diamondbacks White HOT start

Am I one of the only people who knew that the D-Backs would be this good? I hope not. They have great players like Chris Young, Eric Brynes, Brandon Webb and Dan Haren. They have a couple of rising stars in Stephen Drew and Justin Upton. Upton has been their best hitter hitting 5 homers to tie for the league best so far. Eric Brynes is underrated in my opinion because nobody noticed is hustle all out style. He hit 20 homers and 50 steals. Yeah. Clear your eyes, that was not a typo. 50 steals!!!They have one of the best 1-2 combos in Webb-Haren and players like Micah and a feel-good story in Doug Davis coming back from cancer. This has the makings of a great season for the D-Backs.
The Tigers-A Dissapointment?

well they have been so far. They were almost no-hit by a no-name by the name of Mr.Gavin Floyd, the rotation has been worse than exxpected and worst of all, D-Train is injured. COuld things be going worse? Of course. They could lose their whole team to some illness or something(an exaggeration). the rotation is not good behind verlander. They have a strugling Robertson, Bonderman who cannot develop a third out-pitch, rogers being the old, old self and and D-Train who is on the DL. They have no depth in the minors trading away future stars in Miller and Maybin and they have a farty old closer in todd Jones. The lineup has not been as scary as everyone thought it would be. They have one of the leagues worst records, but it is still ealy. they will turnaround.
HOpe you liked the blog!!!

Good blog.
David Ortiz should be given a break, like you said, because he did have knee surgery.
I thought the D'Backs would do very well this year. All the way to the World Series to face the Boston Red Sox.
The Tigers pitching has been the main problem. I'm curious to see what is going to happen to them as the season progresses.
