I did the top ten quarterbacks, and figured I would try to go through and do the best at each positon.
1. Ladainian Tomlinson: Tomlinson is the complete package. He can run, catch, and block. He may just be the most complete runningback of all time and he should only get better. Scary, huh?
2. Frank Gore: I'm a big Frank Gore fan. He was over shadowed last year because of LT and LJ. He can run around you or over you. He'll be in the spot light this year, as I expect San Francisco to be in contention.
3. Larry Johnson: LJ is a great power back, but his O-Line is getting worse and I'm not sure if he can handle back-to-back 400 carry seasons. Plus, teams will key in on him with a horrible passing game in KC.
4. Steven Jackson: Jackson is an explosive back with speed and power. He's just now entering his prime and will be a 1500 yard guy for the next five years.
5. Rudi Johnson: Johnson is a good power back with decent speed. He should be the third RB for the AFC Pro Bowl squad in 2007.
6. Willie Parker: Parker is emerging as a top back with his break away speed. He'll benefit if Roethlisberger is back at 100%. Pittsburgh also has a great offensive line.
7. Edgerrin James: James had a rocky first year in the desert because of his O-Line. The arrival of Russ Grimm as the coach of the offensive line will only help James get back into his Indy form.
8. Shaun Alexander: Alexander is only a two years removed from a MVP and Super Bowl appearance. His 06 injuries knocked him off the football map, but, if healthy, he can still be a pro-bowl back.
9. Deuce McCallister: McCallister is a pure power runningback. He returned to his former pro-bowl days in 2006. If he wasn't splitting carries with Bush, he could be top five material.
10. Brian Westbrook: Westbrook has always been considered the league's best recieveing back, but he showed great running skills during 2006. I think Andy Reid will run the ball more and Westbrook should be good for 1200 yards.
Honorable Mentions: Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, Willis McGahee, Travis Henry, Chester Taylor, Thomas Jones, Clinton Portis, Warrick Dunn

Alexander is getting s!!t on! He managed almost 900 yards in 10 games, three of which he was hurt! I don't agree with most of your list at all!

Gore is a little high, LJ could be at 2. But good job. I agree with most of it.

To RedSoxrule39, how can you have players like Portis and James ahead of Gore? Frank Gore was arguably the second best running back last year. He consistently faced eight men in the box with the Niners having virtually no passing game. Oh, and by the way, he averaged 5.4 yard per carry, higher than any other running back over a thousand yard, even LT. He almost became the first back since Barry Sanders to lead his conference in rushing and average over 5.5 yards per carry. And he's only 23, and as lots of time to grow. There's no comparison between backs like James (who by the way struggled to get 1000 yards this year) and Gore.

edawg- your WR list was a bit better.. Parker is way better than Rudi Johnson. Edge and Alexander just don't belong, instead I would have Bush because of his sickening speed and receiving ability and Joseph Addai- he racked up 1000 yd as a rookie sharing the ball, he will be a feature back this year.
