Shaun Alexander has just been released by the Seattle Seahawks. Alexander has been recovering from wrist surgery, and after his physical today, the Seahawks cut him. Seattle has already signed RBs Julius Jones and T. J. Duckett, and the move was not a very big surprise to Alexander. His numbers had been declining, but no word yet on why the move happened. We'll keep you updated.
