A couple months ago I was playing Madden '08 Superstar Mode. I was Adrian Peterson and I clicked the "Trade Me" button a million times. I finally was traded to the team I wished to be traded to - the Indianapolis Colts.

One thing that made this trade even better for me was that they traded Joseph Addai to get me, so I didn't have to worry about a backup showing me up. So, we go through the first 7 games of the season undefeated, and than the big one came. Super Bowl XLII.5.

This was a while ago so I don't remember all the details. All I remember is that we just scored to tie the game with about 1:30 left on the clock.

So, the game is tied, and I'm sitting there thinking, wooo hooo! We can kill them in overtime! Than, the unthinkable happened. Tom Brady throws an 80-yard touchdown to Randy Moss. I jump out of my seat, shocked as HELL.

I manage to regain my composure for our final drive of the quarter. 2 plays go by, and no progression, forward or back. I'm thinking that it's hopeless, completely and utterly hopeless. I wanted to turn the console off right then and there. But, I stuck it out and decided to end the game still playing.

It's a passing play on 3rd & 10. I'm supposed to be covering Manning's blindside. The ball is snapped, and immediately, the right side of the O-Line breaks down. Manning drifts to my side. 

I'm left alone, with Manning behind me, and two defenders coming at me. I knock one down, and frantically scramble to cover the other guy. I get there in time and hold the defender off. I buy Manning 5 more seconds. He looks down field and sees an open Anthony Gonzalez. Next thing you know, it's an 80-yard touchdown down the field to Anthony Gonzalez. We make the PAT with time expiring. OVERTIME!!!

We won the tip, and ran the ball about 30 yards to the 35 yard line. Vinateri kicks the field goal, and we win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
