For Better or Worse takes a look at the best and worst pitching/hitting performances of the day. I started doing this last year and I am back at it again. I would like to think I could do this everyday, but I just don't have time for that. Plan on seeing it two or three times a week. So let's get into this years first edition of For Better or Worse

Best Hitting Performance: Prince Fielder, Milwaukee Brewers

Worst Hitting Performance: Chris B. Young, Arizona Diamondbacks

Best Pitching Performance: Daniel Cabrera, Baltimore Orioles

Worst Pitching Performance: Bronson Arroyo, Cincinnatti Reds

CIN

The Worst Pitching Performance in this edition goes to Cincinnatti Reds starter Bronson Arroyo. In his start last night against the Houston Astros, Arroyo got shelled. In 3.2 innings of work, Arroyo gave up 8 earned runs on 10 hits while striking out 5 and walking 1. He is now 0-3 on the season with an ERA over 7.00 Bronson will look to get back on track against St. Louis next monday.

That does it for this edition of For Better or Worse. Check back in every once in a while to check out new additions to the collection. Sorry to all of my readers that have been left blogless for the last week. I was in Mexico until Monday night and just haven't had the urge to write anything. So here I am saying, I'm back.
