Denver Broncos Draft Day One!

Wow! Ryan Clady is the "ONLY" acceptable pick for our Denver Broncos with the 12th pick. Our left tackle position is solidified for the next decade. Jay Cutler can breathe easier now knowing that his blind side is protected by Clady. I applaud the pick. Now on to pick # 42 or our second round pick, Eddie Royal wide receiver from Va. Tech. Who is this guy? Royal over Desean Jackson or Sweed? only time will tell if this was a mistake... later

AALS, I had the same reaction as you when they picked Royal. I had no idea who the guy was, and was super pissed because even before the draft I said that I'd love, LOVE to get Sweed(I'm still pissed that he went to Pissburgh). BUT, if you look at what he did at the combine and look at the pros and cons of him, he can fit in very good. Like I said on the front page, the cons can easily, hopefully, be fixed because they are only minor problems. To tell you the truth, in a matter of 10 minutes, I went from being pissed off, to being very happy with this pick.

Lynch the headline in one of the articles from the "Sunday Denver Post" is SHANAHAN smart or just DESPERATE? that refers to the "REACH" for a punt returner and wide receiver in Eddie Royal!

Correction! the article refers to Clady's selection,but could easily be applied to Royal. by the way i love the Clady pick.
