Brendan Haywood, DeShawn Stevenson, and to a lesser extent, Gilbert Arenas appear on the verge of a significant helping of humble pie. While the Washington Wizards have spent the last 4 games knocking Lebron James to the floor in an attempt to rattle him, Lebron's Cavaliers now have a 3-1 series lead, and Lebron has been nothing short of spectacular, averaging 29.5 PPG 8.5 RPG 6.5 APG 1.2 SPG and 1.2 BPG. True, Washington did put the hurt on Cleveland in an embarassing 108-72 game 3 defeat. But with game 5 back in Cleveland, and given the Cavs elevated performance at home, I would have to say that 90% of the words coming out of Washington's mouths has been more than a little bit, "overrated". For all the theorizing about how Washington's irreverance and hard fouls on Lebron would knock him off his game, so far the "New Lebron Rules" have not proven very successful. Granted, it has further exposed James' biggest weakness- free throw shooting- but so far the Wizards have found no antidote for James' biggest asset- his clutch play. There are also signs that the other Cavaliers players are putting the pieces together and playing as a team.
