Countdown to August 3: Draft Grades

August 3rd is the opening day of football again.  In Canton, the Indianapolis Colts will face the Washington Redskins.  In the meantime, I will have a series of blogs doing everything NFL: power rankings, predictions, and today, draft grades.  In my draft, I will include players acquired by trade using picks.  This will make the most accurate evaluation of talent aquirred from the 2008 NFL Draft.

Arizona
1 (16) Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, db, Tennessee State.
2 (50) Calais Campbell, de, Miami
3 (81) Early Doucet, wr, LSU
4 (116) Kenny Iwebema, de, Iowa
5 (149) Tim Hightower, rb, Richmond
6 (185) Chris Harrington, de, Texas A&M
7 (225) Brandon Keith, g, Northern Iowa
Grade: B+
Comments: The Cardinals did a good job of covering their needs.  DRC has amazing potential.  Campbell, Iwebema, and Harrington all will help the transition to the 3-4.  It would have been better if they could have drafted an offensive lineman earlier, however.

Atlanta
1 (3) Matt Ryan, qb, Boston College
1 (21) Sam Baker, ot, Southern California
1 (Trade) Jamaal Anderson, de, Arkansas
2 (37) Curtis Lofton, lb, Oklahoma
2 (Trade) Justin Blaylock, og, Texas
3 (68) Chevis Jackson, db, LSU
3 (84) Harry Douglas, wr, Louisville
3 (98) Thomas DeCoud, db, California
5 (138) Robert James, lb, Arizona State
5 (154) Kroy Biermann, de, Montana
6 (172) Thomas Brown, rb, Georgia
7 (212) Wilrey Fontenot, db, Arizona
7 (232) Keith Zinger, te, LSU
Grade: C-
Comments: The Falcons are on a good pace to destroy their franchise.  They drafted another Joey Harrington, reached on a mediocre tackle, and didn't get anyone of quality on the second day outside of Harry Douglas.  Blaylock and Anderson aren't too great of picks either.

Baltimore
1 (18) Joe Flacco, qb, Delaware
2 (55) Ray Rice, rb, Rutgers
3 (71) Tavares Gooden, lb, Miami
3 (86) Tom Zbikowski, db, Notre Dame
3 (99) Oniel Cousins, ot, UTEP
4 (106) Marcus Smith, wr, New Mexico
4 (133) David Hale, ot, Weber State
6 (206) Haruki Nakamura, db, Cincinnati
7 (215) Justin Harper, wr, Virginia Tech
7 (240) Allen Patrick, rb, Oklahoma
3 & 7 (Trade) Willis McGahee, rb, Buffalo Bills
Grade: A
Comments: Flacco is a great pick right here.  He is the best quarterback in this draft, and he is an upgrade over Troy Smith.  Rice and McGahee give the Ravens a strong running game, and Patrick, Zbikowski, and Cousins were all good second day pickups.

Buffalo
1 (11) Leodis McKelvin, cb, Troy
2 (41) James Hardy, wr, Indiana
3 (72) Chris Ellis, lb, Virginia Tech
3 (Trade) Trent Edwards, qb, Stanford
4 (114) Reggie Corner, db, Akron
4 (132) Derek Fine, te, Kansas
5 (147) Alvin Bowen, lb, Iowa State
6 (179) Xavier Omon, rb, Northwest Missouri
7 (219) Demetrius Bell, ot, Northwestern State
7 (224) Steve Johnson, wr, Kentucky
7 (251) Kennard Cox, db, Pittsburgh
7 (Trade) CJ Ah You, de, Oklahoma
3 & 5 (Trade) Marcus Stroud, dt, Jacksonville Jaguars
Grade: A
Comments: The Bills had an A-worthy first day, but an F-worthy second day.  McKelvin and Hardy will be starters from day one, but none of the players on the second day will be contributors for a few years, if ever.  Trent Edwards brings them up from a C to a B, and Marcus Stroud bumps them up from a B to an A.

Carolina
1 (13) Jonathan Stewart, rb, Oregon
1 (19) Jeff Otah, ot, Pittsburgh
3 (67) Charles Godfrey, db, Iowa
3 (74) Dan Connor, lb, Penn State
5 (141) Gary Barnidge, te, Louisville
6 (181) Nick Hayden, dt, Wisconsin
7 (221) Hilee Taylor, de, North Carolina
7 (241) Geoff Schwartz, ot, Oregon
7 (250) Mackenzy Bernadeau, g, Bentley
Grade: B+
Comments: I have no idea why people are down on Stewart.  He hurt his toe.  He didn't tear anything in his knee.  Otah is a good pick at 19, and Dan Conner could be a big steal in the third round.  The 5th, 6th, and 7th round keep this from being an A.

Chicago
1 (14) Chris Williams, ot, Vanderbilt
2 (44) Matt Forte, rb, Tulane
2 (Trade) Dan Bazuin, de, Central Michigan
3 (70) Earl Bennett, wr, Vanderbilt
3 (90) Marcus Harrison, dt, Arkansas
3 (Trade) Garrett Wolfe, rb, Notrthern Illinois
4 (120) Craig Steltz, db, LSU
5 (142) Zackary Bowman, db, Nebraska
5 (158) Kellen Davis, te, Michigan State
5 (Trade) Darwin Walker, dt, Buffalo Bills
6 (Trade) Kevin Payne, fs, ULM
7 (208) Ervin Baldwin, de, Michigan State
7 (222) Chester Adams, ot, Georgia
7 (243) Joey LaRocque, lb, Oregon State
7 (247) Kirk Barton, ot, Ohio State
7 (248) Marcus Monk, wr, Arkansas
Grade: A
Comments: Chris Williams is a force at tackle.  Forte is the fifth-best running back in this class, and Bennett, Monk, and Davis give Grossman three competent targets.

Cincinnati
1 (9) Keith Rivers, lb, Southern California
2 (46) Jerome Simpson, wr, Coastal Carolina
3 (77) Pat Sims, dt, Auburn
3 (97) Andre Caldwell, wr, Florida
4 (112) Anthony Collins, ot, Kansas
5 (145) Jason Shirley, dt, Fresno State
6 (177) Corey Lynch, db, Appalcahian State
6 (207) Matt Sherry, te, Villanova
7 (244) Angelo Craig, de, Cincinnati
7 (246) Mario Urrutia, wr, Louisville
Grade: B-
Comments: The Bengals got some good talent late in the draft with Lynch and Caldwell, and they got four future starters in the first three rounds.  However, they should have gotten more linebackers, which was a major need last year.

Cleveland
1 (Trade) Brady Quinn, qb, Notre Dame
2 (Trade) Corey Williams, dt, Green Bay Packers
3 (Trade) Shaun Rodgers, dt, Detroit Lions
4 (104) Beau Bell, lb, UNLV
4 (111) Martin Rucker, te, Missouri
6 (190) Ahtyba Rubin, nt, Iowa State
6 (191) Paul Hubbard, wr, Wisconsin
7 (231) Alex Hall, lb, St. Augustine's
Grade: B+
Comments: Brady Quinn will be a franchise quarterback.  Williams, Rodgers, and Rubin make the defensive line incredibly deep.  They would get an A+ if they would have picked a cornerback.

Dallas
1 (22) Felix Jones, rb, Arkansas
1 (25) Mike Jenkins, db, South Florida
2 (61) Martellus Bennett, te, Texas A&M
4 (122) Tashard Choice, rb, Georgia Tech
4 (Trade) Pacman Jones, db, Tennessee Titans
5 (143) Orlando Scandrick, db, Boise State
6 (167) Erik Walden, lb, Middle Tennessee
Grade: C+
Comments: The Cowboys missed out on Rashard Mendenhall, who is way better than Felix Jones.  Pacman is a thug, and Mike Jenkins is there only great choice of the draft.

Denver
1 (12) Ryan Clady, ot, Boise State
2 (42) Eddie Royal, wr, Virginia Tech
4 (108) Kory Lichtensteiger, g, Bowling Green
4 (119) Jack Williams, db, Kent State
4 (Trade) Marcus Thomas, dt, Florida
5 (139) Ryan Torain, rb, Arizona State
5 (148) Carlton Powell, dt, Virginia Tech
6 (183) Spencer Larsen, lb, Arizona
6 (Trade) Jimmy Kennedy, dt, St. Louis Rams
7 (220) Josh Barrett, db, Arizona State
7 (227) Peyton Hillis, rb, Arkansas
Grade: C-
Comments: This was a mediocre draft for the Broncos.  Clady, Lichtensteiger, and Williams are the only players who will make a major impact in this class.

Detroit
1 (17) Gosder Cherilus, ot, Boston College
2 (45) Jordan Dizon, lb, Colorado
3 (64) Kevin Smith, rb, UCF.
3 (87) Andre Fluellen, dt, Florida State
3 (92) Cliff Avril, de, Purdue
3 (Trade) Leigh Bodden, db, Cleveland Browns
5 (136) Kenneth Moore, wr, Wake Forest
5 (146) Jerome Felton, rb, Furman
7 (216) Landon Cohen, dt, Ohio
7 (218) Caleb Campbell, db, Army
Grade: C+
Comments: Besides Kevin Smith and Cliff Avril, this draft is very bad.  Cherilus has a penalty problem, and he was a major reach at 17.  Bodden bumps this draft up big time, as I like his potential.

Green Bay
2 (36) Jordy Nelson, wr, Kansas State
2 (56) Brian Brohm, qb, Louisville
2 (60) Patrick Lee, db, Auburn
3 (91) Jermichael Finley, te, Texas
4 (102) Jeremy Thompson, de, Wake Forest
4 (135) Josh Sitton, g, UCF
5 (150) Breno Giacomini, ot, Louisville
6 (Trade) Ryan Grant, rb, New York Giants
7 (209) Matt Flynn, qb, LSU
7 (217) Brett Swain, wr, San Diego State
Grade: C
Comments: Thank goodness they took Brian Brohm and got Ryan Grant, or else this would be an obvious F.  I have no idea why they took Jordy Nelson when wide receiver isn't a major need.  Patrick Lee is the only good pick besides Brohm.

Houston
1 (26) Duane Brown, ot, Virginia Tech
2 (Trade) Matt Schaub, qb, Atlanta Falcons
2 (Trade) Amobi Okoye, dt, Louisville
3 (79) Antwaun Molden, db, Eastern Kentucky
3 (89) Steve Slaton, rb, West Virginia
4 (118) Xavier Adibi, lb, Virginia Tech
5 (151) Frank Okam, dt, Texas
6 (173) Dominique Barber, db, Minnesota
7 (223) Alex Brink, qb, Washington State
Grade: A+
Comments: This is an amazing draft. They get a good QB, a future star at defensive tackle in Okoye, and Slaton and Adibi could be dark horses for Rookie of the Year.

Indianapolis
1 (Trade) Tony Ugoh, ot, Arkansas
2 (59) Mike Pollak, g, Arizona State
3 (93) Philip Wheeler, lb, Georgia Tech
4 (127) Jacob Tamme, te, Kentucky
5 (161) Marcus Howard, de, Georgia
6 (196) Tom Santi, te, Virginia
6 (201) Steve Justice, c, Wake Forest
6 (202) Mike Hart, rb, Michigan
6 (205) Pierre Garcon, wr, Mount Union
7 (236) Jamey Richard, g, Buffalo
Grade: A+
Comments: Call me a homer, but this is a great draft, possibly the best in the league.  Tony Ugoh would have been at least the second best offensive lineman if not the best in the 2008 NFL Draft.  The Colts covered all of their major needs this year.

Jacksonville
1 (8) Derrick Harvey, de, Florida
2 (52) Quentin Groves, de, Auburn
5 (155) Thomas Williams, lb, Southern California
5 (159) Trae Williams, db, South Florida
6 (Trade) Troy Williamson, wr, Minnesota Vikings
7 (213) Chauncey Washington, rb, Southern California
Grade: D
Comments: Someone is going to have to fill me in on why people think Harvey will be any good.  He didn't perform on the field, which is all that matters.  Groves is a good pick, however, but the second day was as bad as the first round.

Kansas City
1 (5) Glenn Dorsey, dt, LSU
1 (15) Branden Albert, g, Virginia
2 (35) Brandon Flowers, db, Virginia Tech
3 (73) Jamaal Charles, rb, Texas
3 (76) Brad Cottam, te, Tennessee
3 (82) DaJuan Morgan, db, N.C. State
4 (105) William Franklin, wr, Missouri
5 (140) Brandon Carr, db, Grand Valley State
6 (170) Barry Richardson, ot, Clemson
6 (182) Kevin Robinson, wr, Utah State
7 (210) Brian Johnston, de, Gardner-Webb
7 (239) Mike Merritt, te, UCF
Grade: A
Comments: This was a fantastic draft for the Chiefs.  Glenn Dorsey, when healthy, is easily the best player in this draft.  Albert was the best lineman they could have gotten at 15.  Flowers, Charles, Cottam, and Morgan are all great picks for the rounds they were in.

Miami
1 (1) Jake Long, ot, Michigan
2 (32) Phillip Merling, de, Clemson
2 (57) Chad Henne, qb, Michigan
3 (66) Kendall Langford, de, Hampton
4 (110) Shawn Murphy, g, Utah State
4 (Trade) Akin Ayodele, de, Dallas Cowboys
4 (Trade) Anthony Fasano, te, Dallas Cowboys
5 (Trade) Trent Green, qb, Kansas City Chiefs
6 (176) Jalen Parmele, rb, Toledo
6 (195) Donald Thomas, g, Connecticut
6 (204) Lex Hilliard, rb, Montana
6 (Trade) Jason Ferguson, dt, Dallas Cowboys
7 (245) Lionel Dotson, nt, Arizona
Grade: B
Comments: Jake Long fits a big need, but I would have taken Chris Long; however, Phillip Merling makes up for that need.  The second day was pretty weak, and the Trent Green trade is laughable.

Minnesota
2 (43) Tyrell Johnson, db, Arkansas State
5 (137) John David Booty, qb, Southern California
5 (152) Letroy Guion, dt, Florida State
6 (187) John Sullivan, c, Notre Dame
6 (193) Jaymar Johnson, wr, Jackson State
7 (Trade) Brooks Bollinger, qb, New York Jets
1 & 3 (Trade) Jared Allen, de, Kansas City Chiefs
Grade: C
Comments: I bet your wondering why I gave them a C.  They did get Jared Allen, but besides him, Tyrell Johnson is the only other competent player they drafted.

New England
1 (10) Jerod Mayo, lb, Tennessee
2 (62) Terrence Wheatley, db, Colorado
3 (78) Shawn Crable, lb, Michigan
3 (94) Kevin O'Connell, qb, San Diego State
4 (129) Jonathan Wilhite, db, Auburn
5 (153) Matt Slater, wr, UCLA
6 (197) Bo Ruud, lb, Nebraska
7 (Trade) Oscar Lua, lb, USC
Grade: C-
Comments: This is the draft of stretches.  Mayo probably would have been around at least at 20.  Terrence Wheatley could have lasted until the fourth.  Shawn Crable may not have been drafted until the sixth or seventh round.  Some major reaches right here.

New Orleans
1 (7) Sedrick Ellis, dt, Southern California
2 (40) Tracy Porter, db, Indiana
4 (Trade) Jonathan Vilma, lb, New York Jets
5 (144) DeMario Pressley, dt, North Carolina State
5 (164) Carl Nicks, ot, Nebraska
6 (178) Taylor Mehlhaff, k, Wisconsin
7 (237) Adrian Arrington, wr, Michigan
Grade: B
Comments: Ellis is a beast at defensive tackle, and Tracy Porter is an explosive cornerback.  Vilma is a major pickup.  Carl Nicks is a steal, as he should have been a second round at worst.

New York Giants
1 (31) Kenny Phillips, db, Miami
2 (63) Terrell Thomas, db, Southern California.
3 (95) Mario Manningham, wr, Michigan
4 (123) Bryan Kehl, lb, BYU.
5 (165) Jonathan Goff, lb, Vanderbilt
6 (198) Andre' Woodson, qb, Kentucky
6 (199) Robert Henderson, de, Southern Miss
7 (Trade) Lawrence Tynes, k, Kansas City Chiefs
Grade: B
Comments: Kenny Phillips is a good safety who was being projected as a top ten pick before the season.  Terrell Thomas is vastly underrated, and Jonathan Goff is a steal.  Tynes boosts the draft up from a C+ to a B.

New York Jets
1 (6) Vernon Gholston, lb, Ohio State
1 (30) Dustin Keller, te, Purdue
4 (113) Dwight Lowery, db, San Jose State
5 (162) Erik Ainge, qb, Tennessee
6 (171) Marcus Henry, wr, Kansas
7 (211) Nate Garner, ot, Arkansas
3 & 5 (Trade) Kris Jenkins, dt, Carolina Panthers
Grade: B+
Comments: I love this draft for the Jets.  They get a great pass rusher in Gholston.  Keller was the best receiving tight end in this draft.  Dwight Lowery fell for a 40 time, which we all know is bogus.  Kris Jenkins makes this draft on the border of an A.

Oakland
1 (4) Darren McFadden, rb, Arkansas
2 (Trade) DeAngelo Hall, db, Atlanta Falcons
3 (Trade) Mario Henderson, ot, Florida State
4 (100) Tyvon Branch, db, Connecticut
4 (125) Arman Shields, wr, Richmond
6 (169) Trevor Scott, de, Buffalo
7 (226) Chaz Schilens, wr, San Diego State
Grade: C-
Comments: Running back was not a need for the Raiders, and Glenn Dorsey was still on the board.  Hall is the most overrated player in the NFL.  They didn't draft an offensive lineman to protect JaMarcus Russell.

Philadelphia
2 (47) Trevor Laws, dt, Notre Dame
2 (49) DeSean Jackson, wr, California
3 (80) Bryan Smith, de, McNeese State
4 (109) Michael McGlynn, g, Pittsburgh
4 (117) Quintin Demps, db, UTEP
4 (131) Jack Ikegwuonu, db, Wisconsin
4 (Trade) Lorenzo Booker, rb, Miami Dolphins
6 (184) Mike Gibson, g, California
6 (200) Joe Mays, lb, North Dakota State
6 (203) Andy Studebaker, de, Wheaton
7 (230) King Dunlap, ot, Auburn
7 (Trade) Kelly Holcomb, qb, Buffalo Bills
7 (Trade) Takeo Spikes, lb, Buffalo Bills
Grade: A-
Comments: Trevor Laws is the third-best defensive tackle in this draft class.  DeSean Jackson is a major steal.  Studebaker may end up being a Pro Bowl-caliber player.  Ikegwuonu was a first rounder before his injury.

Pittsburgh
1 (23) Rashard Mendenhall, rb, Illinois
2 (53) Limas Sweed, wr, Texas
3 (88) Bruce Davis, lb, UCLA
4 (130) Tony Hills, ot, Texas
5 (156) Dennis Dixon, qb, Oregon
6 (188) Mike Humpal, lb, Iowa
6 (194) Ryan Mundy, db, West Virginia
7 (Trade) Allen Rossum, db, Atlanta Falcons
Grade: C+
Comments: Mendenhall and Sweed are great picks, and both of them could be great contributors on the offense.  Of course, no one can be great on offense when the offensive line is as bad as it is.  They didn't do anything to help it besides draft Tony Hills, a mediocre tackle.

St. Louis
1 (2) Chris Long, de, Virginia
2 (33) Donnie Avery, wr, Houston
3 (65) John Greco, ot, Toledo
4 (101) Justin King, db, Penn State
4 (128) Keenan Burton, wr, Kentucky
5 (157) Roy Schuening, g, Oregon State
7 (228) Chris Chamberlain, lb, Tulsa
7 (252) David Vobora, db, Idaho
7 (Trade) Adam Goldberg, ot, Minnesota Vikings
Grade: B
Comments: Chris Long is a great rush linebacker, which he will be used as in the Rams' new 3-4.  Greco is a sleeper pick, and he could end up being as good as some of the tackles picked in the first round.

San Diego
1 (27) Antoine Cason, db, Arizona
2 (Trade) Eric Weddle, s, Utah
2 (Trade) Chris Chambers, wr, Miami Dolphins
3 (69) Jacob Hester, rb, LSU
5 (166) Marcus Thomas, rb, UTEP
6 (192) DeJuan Tribble, db, Boston College
7 (234) Corey Clark, ot, Texas A&M
Grade: A
Comments: The secondary is solidified with Cason, Weddle, and Tribble, all of whom could be starters someday.  Chambers gives Rivers a strong target at wide receiver.

San Francisco
1 (29) Kentwan Balmer, dt, North Carolina
1 (Trade) Joe Staley, ot, Central Michigan
2 (39) Chilo Rachal, g, Southern California
3 (75) Reggie Smith, db, Oklahoma
4 (107) Cody Wallace, c, Texas A&M
4 (Trade) Dashon Goldson, s, Washington
6 (174) Josh Morgan, wr, Virginia Tech
7 (214) Larry Grant, lb, Ohio State
Grade: D
Comments: This draft is very average.  Balmer won't be a great player in the 3-4.  Phillip Merling would have been a better option.  Joe Staley won't be the tackle Ryan Clady could be.  On the second day, no player was very good at all.

Seattle
1 (28) Lawrence Jackson, de, Southern California
2 (38) John Carlson, te, Notre Dame
4 (121) Red Bryant, dt, Texas A&M
5 (163) Owen Schmitt, rb, West Virginia
5 (Trade) Alvin Pearman, rb, Jacksonville Jaguars
6 (189) Tyler Schmitt, c, San Diego State
6 (Trade) Charlie Frye, qb, Cleveland Browns
7 (233) Justin Forsett, rb, California
7 (235) Brandon Coutu, k, Georgia
7 (Trade) Josh Parry, rb, Philadelphia Eagles
Grade: F
Comments: Lawrence Jackson should not have gone over Phillip Merling.  John Carlson is not worthy of a second round pick.

Tampa Bay
1 (20) Aqib Talib, db, Kansas
2 (58) Dexter Jackson, wr, Appalachian State
3 (83) Jeremy Zuttah, g, Rutgers
4 (115) Dre Moore, dt, Maryland
5 (160) Josh Johnson, qb, San Diego
6 (175) Geno Hayes, lb, Florida State
7 (238) Cory Boyd, rb, South Carolina
Grade: B
Comments: Even though they only had 7 picks, I think this is a great draft.  Talib is a great cornerback.  Jackson will be a star out of the slot.  Josh Johnson is the steal of the draft.

Tennessee
1 (24) Chris Johnson, rb, East Carolina
2 (54) Jason Jones, dt, Eastern Michigan
3 (85) Craig Stevens, te, California
4 (103) William Hayes, de, Winston-Salem
4 (126) Lavelle Hawkins, wr, California
4 (134) Staford Keglar, lb, Purdue
6 (Trade) Bryce Fisher, de, Seattle Seahawks
7 (229) Cary Williams, db, Washburn
Grade: F-
Comments: Only one wide receiver?  Vince Young still has no targets, and they took another running back on the first day.  Who is William Hayes anyways?

Washington
2 (34) Devin Thomas, wr, Michigan State
2 (48) Fred Davis, te, Southern California
2 (51) Malcolm Kelly, wr, Oklahoma
3 (96) Chad Rinehart, ot, Northern Iowa
4 (124) Justin Tryon, db, Arizona State
4 (Trade) TJ Duckett, rb, Atlanta Falcons
6 (168) Durant Brooks, p, Georgia Tech
6 (180) Kareem Moore, db, Nicholls State
6 (186) Colt Brennan, qb, Hawaii
7 (242) Rob Jackson, de, Kansas State
7 (249) Chris Horton, db, UCLA
Grade: C
Comments: The Redskins had an A-worthy first round, getting three great targets for Campbell.  The second day is a definite F.

Yay Jets.

That's all I have to say.

Good job putting who the player was teams traded the pick for. Very thorough blog, I'll read more later.

Great blog Irish.I'd love for someone to tell me more on Jerome Simpson.

Kansas City had a mediocre draft from the fourth round down, and the Colts have a player who is already proven in Ugoh. Also, I am biased because I know more about the Colts picks than I do the Chiefs.

Report Offensive Comment

Pretty good. I disagree that the Bills had an F-day 2. It wasn't great, but they still filled in their needs. Depth at CB, a TE, a steal in the 7th (Steve Johnson), some OL depth...they may not have been real handsome picks, but they got the job done. Maybe a C or C-, IMO.

But still, good job.

But also, Trent Edwards and CJ Ah You were drafted last year.

Report Offensive Comment

His name is JARED Allen NOT Jason Allen.

Also, your opinions on the Patriots and Colts drafts cannot be taken seriously due to your blind hatred and homerism, respectively.

Wow, I finally found someone who liked the Jets draft. Thanks.

Chicago? A? No quarterback/ How?

If the offensive players the Bears got develop to what I think they can and will be, Rex Grossman will succeed.

****!?!?!

We traded for f8cking BOLLINGER!?!?!?!??!

(I seriously thought he was still on our roster...but still...)

WHY!?!?!?!?!

You sayin' Booty and Sullivan aren't competent?

For the Packers, Matt Flynn was an okay decision and Jordy Nelson is going to help out on special teams too.
