In response to:
Tigers interested in Gagne?
One intriguing trade partner for the Tigers could be the Rangers. The Tigers pursued Texas left-hander C.J. Wilson during the off-season, but right-handers Akinori Otsuka and Eric Gagne could be even more appealing now. However, the teams have yet to engage in any substantive talks.

With the Tigers bullpen decimated as it is, it's time for them to act before they lose too much ground in the standings. While its still relatively early in the season, the Tigers are no longer the surprise they were in 2006. In the Central division, Cleveland, Chicago and Minnesota are all contenders for the division, not to mention New York and Oakland as Wild Card contenders as well. Dave Dombrowski has proven fearless in making acquisitions to bolster the Tiger's roster; I hope he doesn't drag his feet in this area most in need of immediate improvement.
