Last night was the Nationwide race at Richmond. Kevin Harvick dominated the race, leading 98 of 250 laps, but late in the race decided to stay out. Denny Hamlin pitted and then blew by Harvick to win at his hometrack. The focus, however, wasn't on Hamlin, but an idiot in the Cup Series and a young driver trying to prove he's not where he is because of his last name fighting was.
On the last lap of the race, Stephen Wallace gave Kyle a little bump to move him out of the way. Kyle, who would wreck his grandma to win a race, didn't think he should have done that, so he came up to hit Wallace as payback. Wallace just let him go by, letting Busch finish 3rd and Wallace 5th. After the checkered flag had flown, Busch hit Wallace, causing David Ragan to spin out in the process. In pit road after the race, Kyle went to Wallace's car to say something, and Wallace grabbed Kyle's helmet. More words were said, and then they left. When interviewed, Kyle said that he would tear up as many cars as it took to get even, and that "when you mess with the bull, you'll get the horns." Stephen Wallace, when interviewed stated that Kyle was being a little girl, and that "it's bad that in driver introductions, everyone boos you"(referring to Busch). Ouch.
I think Stephen Wallace was 100% right and basically just made Kyle Busch look like a crybaby(which he is). Why doesn't Busch and the idiots at Joe Gibbs Racing decide to just let him run the Cup Series so he doesn't make himself look MORE like an idiot. I mean, come on, if a guy says he's going to tear up cars intentionally, NASCAR needs to act on this FAST. I think NASCAR needs to do two things in this situation: Suspend Kyle Busch for a race or two and ban Cup drivers racing in the Nationwide Series beginning next year.

2 things come out of this:
1) The fact was, Rusty's kid was coming up on Kyle. He had him, plain and simple. I'm not gonna dispute that. Having said that...
2) Whatever "bomb" Kyle dropped (and again, I don't know what was said), you DON'T put the "Vulcan Death Grip" on somebody's helmet. Again, let's hope NASCAR sorted this out before the night ended.
Still, it shouldn't overshadow what Denny did last night.
