1st Quarter
Absolute domination by Boston. They're dominating the boards and shutting down the Hawks. This isn't the Hawks of the last 4 games. This is the Celtics of the regular season. Kendrick Perkins is dominating the boards, grabbing 5 rebounds this quarter. Everything is going the Celtics way.
Score: Bos- 27
ATL- 16
Halftime Report
Almost no scoring in the second quarter, the two teams combining for the same amount of points that the Celtics had in the first quarter- 27! Also, if the Hawks had played the whole half, but the Celtics only played one quarter, the Celtics would still be winning! The Hawks only have 26 total points!
The Hawks already have given up 10 balls, compared to the Celtics 3! This is going to be a long day for the Hawks if they keep on giving up the ball. The rookies are showing up more than the singular veteran is now. Mike Bibby needs to step up and be a leader like he was the first six games, excluding games one and two.
The Celtics are hitting there free throws like they need to, shooting 7-8 from the line, while the Hawks can't buy a free throw shooting 50% from the line.
However, there is one thing the Hawks are beating the Celtics in: 3 pt shooting. The Hawks are shooting 80 % from beyond the arch compared to the Celtics 11%.
Key players:
Hawks-
Joe Johnson, 12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist
Celtics-
Kevin Garnett, 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist.
Score: Bos- 44
ATL- 26
3rd quarter
The Hawks should just give up at this point. They are down by 36 and can't buy a shot.
The Celtics might(and probably will) set a record for playoff point margin in Celtic's history, the record being 40.
The Hawks have led for less than 5 minutes at the Boston Garden in the playoffs this year, and if they get up over 5 minutes I will change my name to Louisville is Horrible and will change my avatar to Michael Bush being carted off the field. And for those of you who know me, that is a huge sacrifice.
Marvin Williams was ejected for a Flagrant 2 Foul on Rajon Rondo, and when Erin Andrews asked if he thought it was flagrant, he said that he didn't. Yeah right! It was totally flagrant! It looked like Jason Kidd's foul except this time Marvin didn't even jump! He said that Rondo is his friend. I would never try to give my friend a concussion.
When Zaza Pachulia was shooting free throws, the fans chanted U-S-A, U-S-A! Ha ha! Funny.
Let's see if the Celtics set the franchis record of 40 point margin of playoff victory!
Score: Bos-79
ATL-43
Final Word
The Celtics didn't set the record. They won by 33.
Player of the Game:
Kevin Garnett, 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists.
Final Score:
99 to 65. Celtics win.

I know how you feel. I just wrote a blog about the Celtics game and only had 30+ views and one comments. Guess I just pick the wrong thing to blog about, or not enough controversy.

With the way the Celtics came into the playoffs they should of swept the Hawks but that is the amazement of the playoffs. Anything can happen. Glad Boston won though. Should be interesting to see how KG and the boys play against Labron and his boys.
