My first assumption was that Ryan Perrilloux would transfer to an in-state FCS team. I thought that he would move across Baton Rouge to Southern University or over to Lake Charles to be a McNeese State Cowboy. After all he's a Louisiana guy and there are many FCS teams here in the state. The latest buzz is that he's being pursued by Jacksonville State University in Alabama. For those of you familiar with Military Installations, it's right down the road from Ft. McClellan and not too far from Talladega Motor speedway. My first reaction was that "he might be leaving the state"? Then I considered that this might be exactly what he needs. It might be best for him to get out of state, away from the distractions and the influences he had here. Will he be successful in a new environment? Maybe, does he need to take advantage of the opportunity if offered.........absolutely!

He's better off in leaving Louisiana. Alabama might work for him.
