Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs was fired.  Thank YOU!!!  He took over from the fired Pat Quinn on May 12, 2006, but failed to guide the Maple Leafs into the NHL playoffs in two seasons.  GM, Cliff Fletcher had made the decision of firing Maurice this morning (Wednesday).  Hopefully this time we can get a chance to make the playoffs as long as we get an excellent coach. I personally think that it was a good move, but we could have atleast given him 1 more year to see what he has got otherwise he would be out.  Overall, this was a good decision by the GM and hopefully the GM can get some good players and that the LEAFS can get an excellent coach.
