We the People... list MLB trades that should happen.
1. Adam Dunn to the Yankees for Ian Kennedy, Johnny Damon, and a AA-prospect.
Dunn wants out. It's simple. And the Reds want to give Votto and Bruce playing time... So they ship him for a promising starter, a experienced veteran, and, (for the sake of blogging) Player X. The Yankees also need a bat.
2. Carlos Delgado and Pedro Feliciano to the Tigers for Gary Sheffield and Brandon Inge.
The two Oldies-but-goodies need some new scenery. The Tigers need a reliever, and a spot to place Inge. And New York would do just that.
3. Ken Griffey, Jr. to the Mariners for Jose Vidro, Willie Bloomquist, and Arthur Rhodes.
You saw it coming, don't deny it.
Vidro would add a good backup hitter. Bloomquist could play short, and Rhodes would be a solid reliever.
4. Coco Crisp and Mike Timlin to the Padres for Cla Meredith and Tony Clark.
Crisp would be a good fit in SD: an actual CF. Meredith hasn't recaptured his 2006 magic, and a trip to Beantown could do that.
5. Pat Burrell to the Twins for Francisco Liriano.
Burrell is in a contract year, and the Twins want a more consistant DH for the year. Liriano looks like he may not regain his old form, but the Phillies are desparate for lefty help.
Tell me about any others.
