Maybe it's just me, but Hockey is losing it's name, and it's following. Even the great city of Detroit, named HOCKEYTOWN has season tix holders not showing up! What is that? When you get a game like last night's? COME ON PEOPLE! For one, hockey is hard to watch on TV b/c it's only on cable shows, but there's not a much more exciting sport. You have fights allowed where you don't get thrown out of the game for more than a couple minutes. You have guys using skates, not cleets or shoes, on frozen water, something that's not first nature to anyone. Then you have a piece of bouncing rubber. There's not a lot that gets better than Hockey. And then the playoffs!! They're amazing! Stars in 4 overtimes! Not supposed to make it past the 1st round and one series win away from the CUP? You can't beat it! Guys being compared with Mr. HOckey and The great one! I live for it, does anyone else?

I sure do. Even when my team (the Devils) aren't in it. The game last night was exciting for you I am sure. I am hoping the Stars will play a little better so that it's more of a series. If they keep taking penalties like they did last night, they'll be done in 4 or 5.
Sure was nice to see Rafalski doing so well. Good for him!

Report Offensive CommentIf you really want to restore hockey, you need to have the original six teams play each other more often. Detroit not playing Montreal and Toronto is a shame considering all of the history between these teams.
