As you can see, I feel that Tavaris Jackson and Kellen Clemens will have breakout years. People are down on Tavaris Jackson yet want to have Vince Young's babies. Jackson threw more touchdowns, less interceptions, and the QB rating and completion percentages are not too far off. Of course, if Jackson went to Texas and Young went to Alabama State, it would be the complete opposite. Kellen Clemens will have one of the league's best offensive lines and a fairly decent backfield. Kurt Warner, Shaun Hill, and Brodie Croyle will all end the season as starting quarterbacks.

Not much change from last year in this ranking. I think the top ten players were clearly the top five last year besides Larry Johnson, who did not have the year Fred Taylor had. Minnesota and Jacksonville sport the league's best running back tandems. Darren McFadden will be the best "fantasy" position rookie because of his ability to run and catch the ball. Reggie Bush is continuing to fall from glory.

The Patriots and Colts easily have the two best wide receiver corps in the league. Remember, this is without tight ends. James Hardy will be the best wide receiver who comes out of this draft. The Bills made a great pick. The Titans have no players on here. Not one. Titans-Remember to never give your franchise quarterback any qualified targets. Oh yeah, only draft change of pace backs as well. Why can't all GMs be like Mike Reinfeldt. It would make it so much easier for the Colts to win it all.
Tight Ends
1. Kellen Winslow/TE/Cleveland
2. Dallas Clark/TE/Indianapolis
3. Antonio Gates/TE/San Diego
4. Jason Witten/TE/Dallas
5. Tony Gonzalez/TE/Kansas City
6. Chris Cooley/TE/Washington
7. Heath Miller/TE/Pittsburgh
8. Vernon Davis/TE/San Francisco

15. Donald Lee/TE/Green Bay
16. Alge Crumpler/TE/Tennessee
17. Greg Olsen/TE/Chicago
18. Zach Miller/TE/Oakland
19. Ben Utecht/TE/Cincinnati
20. Dustin Keller/TE/New York Jets
The tight ends in this league absolutely suck. I mean, Zach Miller is top 20? Keller, Olsen, and Utecht are future stars. Keller needs to become more of a blocker and Utecht needs to not drop as many balls, but those two could be great. Olsen is on a great pace for success.
Next up is the offensive line and defense

Peterson splits carries and is injury prone, LT is still better.

Report Offensive CommentOh and i disagree about the fact that you think the pats and colts "easily have the best corps- harrisons in trouble and have little depth
FANMAN | 05/09/08, 07:16 PM
Report Offensive CommentHarrison is in no trouble. It's all crap. Also, there is no depth problem with Roy Hall, who was injured last year. They drafted Pierre Garcon, who will be a stud. No team is near the Colts and Pats in wide receivers.

Report Offensive CommentI think it's a joke that you have Tarvaris Jackson in the top 15 and Marshawn Lynch at just #14. But that's just me.

Report Offensive CommentDonald Lee isn't bad....the good move the Packers made so far this offseason was getting rid of Bubba Franks. He just has been injured and no help to the team. Donald Lee will be getting 85%-90% of the catches out of the TE on the team...

Report Offensive CommentDude, you can't tie Manning and Brady. Be a man and pick one. And if you think Tavaris Jackson, Matt Schaub, Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb are going to have better numbers than Aaron Rodgers, you're crazy.

Report Offensive Commentdude, seriously, you don't like the burgh too much do you!? How is Romo before Roethlisberger? Also, what kills me is people will rank future hall of famers such as Hines Ward, who is one of the most consistent receivers around, behind ones in their first few years...And Willie Parker was a top rusher before he broke his leg. All of you wait and see, they'll prove it this year, that they have what it takes!
Steelerfan83 | 05/10/08, 01:28 AM
Report Offensive CommentI refuse to rank Manning and Brady in anything. Every season I give them the chance to throw 60 touchdowns, and I have no idea who will have a better season.
I think Aaron Rodgers will have a good year, but the Packers will not be as good of a team as the Vikings, Texans, Bucs, and Eagles. I think that there is a chance for Ryan Grant to slump, and I don't like the depth at running back either. The receivers need to step up. Tavaris Jackson has everything a QB can want. He has the best backfield, one of the best offensive lines, and some good receivers now.
Ben Roethlisberger doesn't have the offense that Romo has. Parker will have to split carries with Rashard Mendenhall.

Report Offensive CommentTorry Holt at 17? Holt is a top 10, if not top 5 receIver in the NFL. He has been the most productive receiver in the last decade, having more the 1000 yards in the past 8 seasons and averages a little over 8 touchdowns a season. Even with no offensive line, a quarterback with bruised ribs, and a new offense ( after the Mike Martz era) that cut the pass attempts per game by a third, he still racked up a top 10 placement by the end of the season. It is disgraceful for anyone who knows the game of football to put Torry Holt at 17.

LoS-Viva La Revolucion! | 05/10/08, 07:25 PM
Report Offensive CommentIf Jackson can cut down on his interceptions, he could be the best QB in the North. Not a great mark, but it could happen. He's mobile, has good footwork, and decent arm strength. His accuracy is his main weakness, but it isn't like he's throwing to TJ Houshmanzadeh and Larry Fitzgerald out there. Berrian will change a lot about that team. Jackson was rushed into starting by Brad Childress when he was obviously picked to be a project. 2008 will be a good year for him, and 2009 will be his breakout year.

Report Offensive CommentYou must be watching a different Tavaris Jackson. He has about the worst footwork you will see in an NFL quarterback.
