Does everybody know what time it is?!?!
No, it isnt "Tool Time."
The five-song lineup that'll sure enough hit you in the face aint too bad, if I dont say so myself. Some glam metal, a tad bit of grunge, and some classic sleeze metal to round it all off. Feast your ears.
1. Shout at the Devil - Motley Crue
I'm not exactly a huge fan of the 80's glam scene that thrived on the LA Strip... but it doesnt hurt to jam to some Motley Crue from time to time. And FYI, the Crue is reforming for a tour soon -- or so says a guy that I met at work.
2. My Wave - Soundgarden
If you listen to the radio, you're bound to hear some Soundgarden. Of their first few albums in the 1990's, I swear at least 10 songs are constant radio numbers, including this one.
3. Them Bones - Alice in Chains
Yet another band that thrived in the 1990's, Alice in Chains and one of their classics off their best work, Dirt. The people of Louisiana voted it into the Top 20 of one of the classic rock station's album countdown. Sweet.
4. Voodoo Child (Slight Return) - Jimi Hendrix
If there was a magnum opus for Jimi Hendrix during his short stint in the rock n' roll limelight, it was this one. Flashback video for any you people that happened to be at Woodstock in '69.
5. Locomotive - Guns n' Roses
Outside of the big three on Appetite For Destruction, there arent too many tracks I'm all that fond of. Except this one, of course. And speaking of that Top 20 countdown, AFD came in at #2.
Enjoy your night, people. I'm out.
