(Note: I'm back FanNation!!! I don't know how long I will be back for, and it may be a while considering I broke my ankle and foot, but enjoy it while I'm here. =)

I woke up the other day and saw the news. I couldn't believe it was true. I had to go put in my contacts and then read the article again, just to make sure I was right.

And I was.

Daniel Cabrera had just made his 6th straight quality start in a row. After jumping with joy (or trying to thanks to my full leg cast), I smiled and sat down with my Sunny Delight juice and I read the article one more time. D-Cab had just pitched a complete game win for the O's. He walked only one batter in the whole game. Now before you call me a liar, look it up. It's true.

D-Cab looked like an Ace. He consistently hit 94 mph on the radar gun in the ninth inning. He threw 116 pitches and still hit 94 on the radar gun. I couldn't believe it either.

So, that brings me to one of my many questions: Is Cabrera for real? Or is this just another tease?

My take: He's for real. The addition of pitching coach Rick Kranitz obviously helped Cabrera. Some people said he would have a breakout year this season, but I didn't believe it. I do now. And, some even gave reasons why he would. I gave reasons why he wouldn't. Now, I take it all back as D-Cab looks like he is the real deal.

After years of hearing about all the potential in the world, those questions could soon be buried along with that high ERA and those 18 losses.

But there are some more rumblings: Some fans have called for Cabrera to be traded, "while the O's can still get something for him".

My response to that: Don't be an idiot. The Orioles are in a rebuilding stage, and Cabrera is still young. What are you gonna do, trade him for a young flamethrowing pitcher? And wait years for that pitcher to come along, and then just trade him too? That sounds all too familiar...

Baltimore fans have waited for what seems like an eternity, and most gave up hope on D-Cab.

Thank God Dave Trembley and the Orioles' front office didn't.

So O's fans, my message to you: Enjoy it while D-Cab is pitching like this, because who knows if it will last.

Here's to hoping it will.

Yeah Guthrie, I saw the blogs. I'll try to participate in some of them.

On a side note fellas, if you were wondering why I had stopped writing blogs on camdenclubhouse.com, it was because I was cheated out of the money I was rightfully owed. I was promised paychecks that never came, and I became fed up with it.

Just so ya kno...

But it's great to be back!
