1. Henrik Zetterberg, Red Wings: He won nine of 14 draws and launched a team-leading seven shots at Marty Turco, including a blistering one-timer on a first-period power play that stood through the final 45 minutes as the game winner.
2. Valterri Filppula, Red Wings: Stepping up in place of the injured Johan Franzen, Filppula was a monster in the faceoff circle (winning 10 of 16) and playing a key defensive role as the Wings shut down the Stars on their final four power-play chances.
3. Chris Osgood, Red Wings: It wasn't the number of saves -- Ozzie stopped 17 of 18 Dallas shots -- but the fashion in which he made them. Osgood's positioning forced the Stars to try to pick the corners and directly led to their 11 missed shots. And when Dallas did hit the target, he controlled the puck, preventing the second chances that the Stars made short work of against the Ducks and Sharks.
