I am sick and tired of hearing,"I'm being persecuted because I'm black." That statment has been shoved down our throats in so many cases that it makes me gag every time I hear it. Adam "Pac-Man" Jones is supposedly being singled out because he's black, what about the hundreds of other black athletes who know how to act like grown men. The latest is this idiot D.A. in Virginia, whom I feel has something of his own to hide, has thrown the race card out in the Vick case. See http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070607/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_vick_investigation

Why does it always have to be about race? When Tony LaRussa got arrested for DUI, you didn't hear him cryin' that it was because he's white. When the LAX players from Duke had their lives ruined, for nothing, you didn't hear them crying that it was because they were white, even though they would have had every right to make that claim. Let's stop with all the divisive race-baiting and take these cases for what they are, stupid people doing stupid things.

race must be brought up all the time becuase racism is probably still the biggest problem in America that everyone likes to pretend is done with and sweep under the rug.

Rock on man. good points. It is a sad world we live in now that some people in the justice system and other public figures take advantage of the medias' distortion of public perception. It all comes down to taking responsibilities for your own actions. something not alot of people are doing nowaday.

**** is a good example of the racism that, sadly, still infests our country.

there is no credibility anywhere in the world. not in politics (i'm looking at you, Alberto), not in sports (oh hey, Mr. Palmiero), not in the media (hi, cable news).

The media and polititions get a hold of these things and run with em. In most cases people wouldn't think it was a big deal until you see it on the news for a month straight telling YOU what a big deal it is until finally you believe them.

Race is not involved in this case, however, people trying Vick because he is a celebrity and that crazy left-wing P.E.T.A. being involved is frightening all around.
