Hello. I'm going to start off by asking the following question. Why on earth did the knicks choose D'antoni instead of Rick Carlisle? Carlisle has defensive expertise and enough experience to coach a team. He also knows how it feels to be around psychotic players (Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson).

Mike Dantoni is a great coach and you are out of your mind by thinking that the knicks shouldve chose carlisle. Dantoni has experience with marbury and he runs a fast paced offense which should be good for the knicks becuase the knicks have a lot of athletic players.

Report Offensive CommentD'antoni has no experience whatsoever with Marbury. If you recall in January 2004 the suns traded marbury while D'antoni was coach. Also, D'antoni runs a Euoropean style Run'n'Gun offense which i DOUBT will go well with the OVERWEIGHT, Marbury, Jeffries, Curry, and Randolph!!!!
