As the final moments ticked away after the empty net goal scored I felt a letdown in myself. You could tell by the expression in Danny Briere's face, and the rest of the flyers. A let down unlike any of the previous series they have seen. This loss struck a cord with me and the players. After lossing Kimmo I thought the Flyers would step up and respond. Then Braydon Colborn no doubt already know, got caught up high in the face with a slap shot that knocked him out the rest of the game. Flyers battled the entire game, very hard fought and scrapped for every puck, and every goal and still came up short. Nothing like a feeling when battling and going as hard as you can, and come up short not only is a physical defeat, but a defeat in the heart.
This is nothing new to the Flyers organization. In 2000 the Flyers were down 2-0 in the series versus the Pen's. The Flyers battled back and took the series 4-2 in a epic 4 over-times. Something tells me that this might not happen. By the expressions on the faces of the flyers, I could tell they got a good punch in the gut. The Flyers are now facing a critic 2 game homestead, and a must win attitude is in order. Enough fooling around, enough vengance talk. It's win or go home. Whats goin be flyers? Proving the critics right, that they want the Pittsburgh vs. Detroit matchup. This is it, its come down to a draw at sundown like the old west. Your surrounded might as well go out in a blaze of glory with pistols firing. Gotta leave it all on the ice. Who will seize the moment and become a hero? Mike Richards could be a candiate. Maybe a quiet Umberger, Jeff Carters crazy wrist shot. Time will tell, but time is running out. Hopefully the boys can dig deep, and find what has been there all along. Sheer will and sacrifice. Gotta find it boys. LETS GO FLYERS!

REDWINGS VS PENQINS REDWINGS VS FLYERS
The Red Wings are an excellent hockey team. It is very difficult to find a weak spot in their offense or in their defense. Only one weak spot point may be evident at this point: goal. Outside of that, they are a mirror image of the Penquins in style and talent. The Flyers will only see themselves in the mirror:
clean shaven and on the golf course with their "pistols" firing!
