For the last 4 seasons steroids have been the biggest story in baseball.  Who did HGH?  Who did steroids?  Who failed the piss test?  All of these questions clouded the baseball, but now that steroids are gone, so is the FlyMaster's interest.  In the height of the steroid era there were big names strewn about the leaders of major stats and the stats were impressive.  Bonds hitting 73 homers.  McGwire and Sosa.  Giambi and Tejada.  Things were great when players were cheating.  It was interesting and captivating.  Look at this year's stats and everything is so pedestrian.  Carlos Quentin leads the AL is homers with 9.  Josh Hamilton, Emil Brown, Chase Utley, and Dan Uggla are also the leading players.  Who?

We bitched and moaned to baseball to "clean up your act," and what did we get?  We got a level playing field that is boring, unwatchable, and a throw back, but not in a good way.  From now on the FlyMaster is reserving the moral high road for nuns, puppies, children, and spiritual advisors.  Baseball is now exempt.  Bring back the towering home runs, the larger than life muscles, and the rampant problem of swelling heads and acne on the back.  That was when baseball was fun to watch.  FlyMaster misses Barry Bonds.

If MLB isn't carefulf, they will soon be dismissed with Hockey. In addition to the performance enhancing drugs, all the "stars" are now foreign born. This doesn't diminish the game, but it significantly diminishes the interest.
