I got home today, and boy are the rumors flying. And most of them are pretty damn good. First: Arsenal is to place a bid for Yaya Toure Second: Arsenal are interested in Jean Makoun (very underrated defensive centermid) and Seydou Keita Third: Gilberto is willing to stay around even if it means less playing time. This is good news, Gilberto in particular. If we sign Toure and keep Gilberto, we have depth at the defensive CM position. Gilberto isnt capable of being the starter anymore, and with the addition of Toure we wouldn't have to spend money on a reserve CM like Makoun or Keita, who would both cost a good ten million. We can spend this on a new striker.
