Jets sign PK, Mark Myers

The Jets added another leg to the roster today, signing former CFL PK Mark Myers.

Presumably, Myers was signed to be a "camp leg," not a serious threat to incumbent Mike Nugent - unless, of course, Nugent suffered an injury today on the first day of OTAs.

Anyway, Myers kicked in three games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He made five of six FG tries, including a game-winning 44-yarder against Calgary.

Thursday's OTA is open to the media and, by league rule, the teams must allow the media to view the entire practice. We'll see more than the stretching and find out more Thrusday.
