ATLANTA OFFENSE- D+ DEFENSE- C- MANAGE/COACH- D
As much as I would like to see this team improve, they won't. For a while. If ever.
They think they have a franchise QB in rookie Matt Ryan, who will be very likely to start this year right away. He comes to an offense ranked 29th in the NFL in PPG(16.2), 23rd in yds per game at 301 and will be missing Mike Vick for a second staright year. It also lost Warrick Dunn, to be replaced with first time full starter Micheal Turner. They have a corp of recievers who can't seem to catch, though they did better at that last season. They lost their go to guy Alge Crumpler.
The defense was stingy at times last season. True, they lost DeAngelo Hall, but that could be for the good. His character problems belong in Oakland(Haha, sorry Raider fans). They have to be excited over Micheal Boley and Keith Brooking anchoring that linebacker pack and John Abraham returned to a 10 sack guy. As for the management and coaching- I like Arthur Blank. I think hes a great owner. But who knows about Mike Smith. But for coming in to coach this team rebuilding, he should get as much props as Mike D'Antoni(maybe not that much)
