I love to hear fans of other teams try to make the San Antonio Spurs look like a bunch of criminals. It makes me want to laugh hysterically!

Why? Because that is so far from the truth! You can believe whatever you want to believe, but Robert Horry didn't intentionally hurt David West. In fact, if you look at the replay, David West backed into him.

The San Antonio Spurs are the most well behaved group of players in the NBA. Do you EVER hear about any of them EVER getting into any kind of trouble? Nope. Do you ever hear selfish talk from these reigning NBA champs? No. They are team oriented. And that is why they have won 4 NBA titles since 1999.

There are those out there who don't like the fact that San Antonio has won so many championships without all-stars like Kobe or LeBron. The fact that they aren't so flashy has made a lot of people question their winning methods. People feel that them winning 4 NBA championships without an all-star like Kobe, they must be doing something else to win all of these games.

So therein started the whole 'playin' dirty' accusation. Steve Nash last year, David West this year.

Unfortunately for you 'playin' dirty' accusers, when you watch the replays of last year and this year, there are NO clearly intentional 'dirty' fouls by the Spurs. The NBA playoffs is very physical. Much more so than the regular season. The Spurs only play hard because that is how you play in the playoffs. More so, that is how you win in the playoffs!

If New Orleans is too young or immature to realize that, then they don't belong in the Western Conference NBA Finals against LA or Utah.

We will see on Monday night......

UPDATE WEDNESDAY MAY 21 12pm: The Spurs showed Monday night why they have won four NBA Championships since 1999, soundly defeating the Hornets in New Orleans. They move on to the Western Conference Finals against the LA Lakers. Game 1 is tonight.

"People feel that them winning 4 NBA championships without an all-star like Kobe, they must be doing something else to win all of these games."

You make it sound like they've won 4 role players with a bunch of role players. Tim Duncan is arguably one of the best players, let alone big men, in the NBA over the last 10 years. Sure he doesn't have the flash that a SF or SG type (Lebron or Kobe) have, but there's no denying his dominance. And we should all know how much of an impact having a dominant big has on winning rings. The only other big that has been as dominant over the last decade is Shaq. Really, you have to go back to the Jordan Bulls to find a team that won multiple rings without a dominant big. The Pistons won one without one, but you have Shaq with the Lakers for three, Hakeem with the Rockets for 2, Duncan (and Robinson for 1) for 4.

my point is that the spurs are highly scrutinized by the nba because they are from a small media market city, and don't have that flashy player like the Lakers and Celtics.
The NBA execs all want to see an NBA Finals between the Celtics and Lakers. Period! Higher TV ratings, better media markets in the west coast (Lakers) and east coast (Celtics). In other words, more money.
That is what the Spurs have dealt with ever since they became a dominant team in the late 90's...

The Spurs are criminals-they have cleaned out the NBA closet of four golden trophies. LOL
