Well, here it is. Behold, the greatest dynasties in the 4 major sports of all-time! Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts.
1. Boston Celtics/NBA/1957-1969: In 13 years, they won 11 championships. 11! In that span, they reached 12 NBA Finals. It is one feat that may never be broken.
2. UCLA Bruins/NCAA Men's Basketball/1964-1975: These Bruins, led by legendary coach John Wooden, are the greatest dynasty in the history of college sports. In a span of 12 years, they won 10 national championships and reached 11 Final Fours. One of the most storied teams.
3. Montreal Canadiens/NHL/1955-1960: Five years. Five Stanley Cups. Enough said. They've done enough to get into my top 3.
4. New York Yankees/MLB/1947-1962: A span of 16 years, and the Yankees reached 13 World Series. In those 13 World Series, the Yanks came out victorious 10 times. It is one of the greatest dynasties in baseball.
5. Los Angeles Lakers/NBA/1979-1989: With Magic and Kareem, this team was unstoppable. In 10 years, the Lakers reached 8 NBA Finals, and won 5 of them. That ends the top 5. 6-10 coming up soon.

I think it might be a good idea to switch the Canadiens with the Lakers. But it's actually very good.

Yeah, this isn't bad. But I hope 6-10 has some football teams. Remember, football is designed so that every team goes 8-8, yeah yeah I know we've all heard it before, but teams like the 49ers, Steelers, Boys and Patriots all deserve some recognition. If you want to go outside of sports then you must recognize the Ming and Qing dynasty's, two of China's very best.

1940s Notre Dame would be good in the 11-15 range. 4 championships, 3 Heismans.

How about the 1970's Canadiens? 6 Cups in 9 years including 4 in a row, as well as losing only 8 [1 home game] in one season and 12 the next. I like the choice of the 50's Habs as well. 5 in a row but 8 straight appearances in the Finals - 15 of 18 players on the 55-56 team are in the HOF!

I would replace the Lakers with either the Packers of the '60s or the Yankees of the 30's. I am biased though, as my screen name indicates. Lakers belong in the 6-10 with Chicago the the Steelers.

So the Bulls dynasty that went 72-10 and won three in a row aren't even in the top ten?

you gotta remember the bulls would have won 8 championships in a row if jordan doesn't retire early. I would put them at 3.
