June 8, 2007  10:09 PM ET

Kentucky is NOT top 25 material just because they have Andre Woodson. I think Texas a&m is a little low, Hwaii could be put there maybe...otherwise I agree.

June 8, 2007  10:10 PM ET

What are you talking about? Just Andre Woodson??? More like Andre Woodson, Keenan Burton, and Raphael Little, all top 5 material in their positions in the SEC!

June 8, 2007  10:14 PM ET

wow, ok, weren't you expecting to get ripped by this?

June 8, 2007  10:15 PM ET

Yep, but I didn't say I couldn't defend myself, I just didn't feel like you were educated on the subject. ;)

June 8, 2007  10:38 PM ET

I actually think it's a pretty good list. The teams I care about (LSU, West Virginia, Louisville) are all ranked appropriately.

June 8, 2007  10:59 PM ET

Where is Brigham Young on the list?

June 8, 2007  11:03 PM ET

Actually this isn't too bad...I'm only going to rip you if I think you're being a homer, and I don't think it's TOO homer-ish....Kentucky at 25 isn't out of the realm of possibility....

June 8, 2007  11:04 PM ET

My dark horse top-25 teams that you missed: Nebraska and Boston College.

June 9, 2007  03:17 AM ET

BYU??? huh??? pretty good list Kentucky

June 13, 2007  04:19 PM ET

I think you could have replaced Notre Dame with Hawaii. The Warriors will blow through the season with the only exception being Boise State. The win-loss record should have them toards the top 15 by season's end and Colt Brennan will go off again. Notre Dame has to reload on offense and still have a slow defense returning. It's possible they lose their first four games.

June 22, 2007  11:23 PM ET

Kentucky should be at #25 they had almost no seniors last year. Andre woodson, Rafael Little, and Keenan Burton, Wesley Woodyard, Marcus McClinton. Kentucky definitly should be there.. And the person who put brigham young is an idiot any team on that list could beat them and plus they have no competition in there conferece. BYU r u crazy and hawaii does not face ne1 either.

June 26, 2007  02:23 PM ET

Your rankings are pretty good, but I have a few suggestions:

Where is Nebraska? Nebraska will definitely win the Big 12 South and has a shot for the entire Big 12. Why aren't they up there?

I think the Aggies are a little low, maybe switch them with TCU...

I agree with the Kentucky choice. Some people (like Yanks4Ever above us) have no idea what there talking about when they say Kentucky isnt top 25 material. Maybe I should take Bama out and put UK in mine. Saban cant perform miracles...

June 30, 2007  12:18 AM ET

pretty good. but your right very controversial.some things i disagree with.
auburn to high. they should be around 20. vols to low. they should be in the top 10. i also think boston college, wake forest and nebraska should be in there. ucla is to high. notre dame shouldnt even be in there. kentucky might barely make it and i am going out on a limb by saying that.but thats prdiction is very bold.i think south flordia should be close to being in there too. also alabama

What about Texas Tech? returning a total of 19 starters including all american michael crabtree, also you cant forget about graham harell, everyone talks about him being a product of the system which in some ways is understandable, but you cant ignore his numbers, 48 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions and 5705 yars passing. If he is a product of the system then why is everyone talking about colt brennan, harrells better in every category and plays much tougher teams. I can agree with every other team rankings those are pretty good, except for A & M and Notre Dame. A & M is over ranked every year, and Notre Dame did not have a good season at all this year.

Are you watching the same college football I am?! Louisville as a Top-10??? They can't even play defense man. Your biased, I understand. I went to OSU but I wouldnt be putting them up around #5-10 hahaha. One thing I know, OSU could light up Louisville - remember almost LOSING to Middle Tennessee State!? OSU was a top-10 offesne all last year, Middle Tennessee put up like 40+ on Louisville.

And Michigan #3, what planet are u from? They lost there entire starting offense that kept the whole piece together (Henne, Long, Hart), got an entire new coaching staff, and are implimenting a completely new scheme. They may be a top-25, but #3!? Omg.

And Last, Georgia #14? OU #8??? Ark #12??? After getting owned by Missouri, who OU drubbed twice?! Please watch some football man.

April 13, 2008  03:57 PM ET

That rant was a short rant I might add. Lasting ND, which couldnt score a TD for like 4 games last year at #22??? Seriously, u kidding me? UT, OU, UG, USC, UF, Missouri, LSU, OSU, should rightfully be in top 10, though I didnt round that out. So many of the teams that were good on paper from last year have lost a lot, and good on paper means nothing anyways. The only thing that counts is whats left on the field that day. UM looked amazing on paper last year. Meant nothing - they were awful to start, took a miracle to turn it around the way they did.

What I cannot understand is your pick of Lousiville as #5 when they cant keep a DII (FCS) team under 35 and a 3-9 ND team as #22 when they couldnt even score a TD until 4/5 game of season. They LOST to NAVY for the first time in like 44 years. Is this really a list of your favorite teams? That would make more sense here, lol.

Alabama Crimson Tide will show progress this year.

Top 15 finish.

Nick Saban will develop a football factory in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Top High school talent = Top 10 teams= Top NFL draft picks.
