I started watching the REDWINGS in the early 70's, and my first winged -wheel hero was ALEX DELVECCHIO. Growing up in Portage, just outside Kalamazoo, and went to K-WINGS games, back when they were affiliated with the redwings. In the late 70's, i followed DALE MCCOURT and MIKE FOLIGNO. I have lived in jax., fla. scince 1980, but my passion for all things michigan, including the WINGS, has not dimminished. My favorite wing OF ALL-TIME is STEVE YZERMAN, THE CAPTAIN. CONGRATULATIONS to EVERY TRUE REDWINGS who stayed the course over the last 40+ years, your passion has been rewarded with 4 STANLEY CUPS in 11 years. GO WINGS!!
