About a month ago I opened up a 2008 Mock Draft Contest for members of the NFL Nation. Some people signed up. Some forgot, and some posted their mock drafts. If you forgot, it's okay. If you posted, thanks a lot.
We had four people mocking the drafts, and they were Mr. Fanman, i B4 e, SS (AKA Super Squirrel), and Duquesne. This was a very close contest. First off, let's see the 2008 NFL Draft results:
1) Jake Long
2) Chris Long
3) Matt Ryan
4) Darren McFadden
5) Glenn Dorsey
6) Vernon Gholston
7) Sedrick Ellis
8) Derrick Harvey
9) Keith Rivers
10) Jerod Mayo
11) Leodis McKelvin
12) Ryan Clady
13) Jonathan Stewart
14) Chris Williams
15) Brandon Albert
16) Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
17) Gosder Cherilus
18) Joe Flacco
19) Jeff Otah
20) Aqib Talib
21) Sam Baker
22) Felix Jones
23) Rashard Mendenhal
24) Chris Johnson
25) Mike Jenkins
26) Duane Brown
27) Antoine Cason
28) Lawrence Jackson
29) Kentwan Balmer
30) Dustin Keller
31) Kenny Phillips
There they are. Contestants might have been thrown off due to trades and switches, but that's the Draft for ya. So below are the four contestants with their number picked correctly out of the 31 total first-round picks.
SS (Super Squirrel)- 3/31 (9.6%)
Duquesne- 4/31 (12.9%)
i B4 e- 4/31 (12.9%)
Mr. Fanman-4/31 (12.9%)
Unfortunately, SS was one pick away from making it a four-way tie and making it easier for me. This is where Duquesne, i B4 e, and Mr. FanMan decide. Will we just call it a three-way tie and cut the virtual trophy in threes, or should we have a three-man, double-elimination throwdown tournament? I need all three to post their answers below. A 2/3's majority will decide.
Also, if you aren't in the NFL Nation. Please join. We let anyone blog if they want to, and we hold throwdown tournaments.
If you are in the NFL Nation, there is a new poll. Also, if we started a throwdown tournament in the next week or so, will you be in it?
Thanks.
