This morning I tuned in to "Baseball Tonight" on ESPN.  One of their headline games of the day was the Reds Versus the Indians.  The game featured Cliff Lee pitching for the Indians against Edison Volquez for the Reds.  The ESPN personalities were hyping the exciting matchup and touting the great pitching of these two pitchers for the season.

Lee had and ERA of .6 or so heading into the game and Volquez had an ERA under 1.5.  So, I checked out the line on the over/under for runs scored in the game.  I checked it just in time to watch it turn from 7.5 runs to 8 runs, meaning everyone was putting money down that more than 8 runs would be scored today with the league's two best pitcher on the mound.

Of course this holds very little logic, but if you were a bettin' man and followed that illogical money, you would have won.  The game just went final with the Reds winning 6-4, and those runs weren't all given up by the bull pen, either.  Check out the box score.
