It wasn't how I wanted it, but I'll take it any way I can.

For the last few weeks, I've talked about why there couldn't be a print version of FanNation. I have to tell you, nothing excited me more than seeing that become a reality. Finally, I thought, we would see our work where it rightfully belongs...in "dead pulp" form, for all the world to read.

Alas, it is not to be.

I learned this from reading Thugmeister's "FN Grandpas" blog a moment ago. Seems when we all signed on to FN, we agreed to their "Terms of Use"...which prohibits us from putting our work outside of FN. Me, I never bothered with reading the damned thing. But thanks to Thug, I now realize I was about to open all of us to potential legal action from Time Warner.

So that's it, right?? The dream is dead?? Not so fast, FanNation...

It turns out Cincy decided to take my (unintentional) advice, and decided on his own to launch a "FN Magazine" group on here. So it's there, for all of us to use. My advice to you, is: USE it!!!

It wasn't what I wanted, but all in all I kind of got what I wanted. I wondered why we weren't given an outlet to see our work in print, but now I'm glad I didn't pursue this more aggressively. I mean, I turn 50 on Thursday...and I should know better than this.

So, have at it, gang. The place--"FN Magazine"--is MY unintended gift to you all.

Cooz: guilty, as charged. It's my nature to OVER-do things in life.
Thug: I can not thank you ENOUGH for saving me from making a complete ass of myself with the "dead pulp" idea. At least you took the time to research the matter. (Which reminds me: I think we need a legal team on there. You know, the firm of "Hook 'Em, Fleece 'Em & Snook 'Em".)
Anyway..."I love it when a plan comes together". LMAO
