The first no-hitter of the 2008 MLB season has finally come. Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lester tossed a no-hitter against the Kansas City Royals. The Red Sox won the game 7-0 fueled by the offensive support of Captain Jason Varitek, and of course the phenomenal pitching performance from John Lester. Lester struck out 9 of the Royals and was 2 walks away from a perfect game. This I think will serve as the pizzaz the Red Sox have lacked so far this season, as they have gotten off to a not so usual start in past years.

The Red Sox are starting to find their form from their WS team last year, and with powerful pitching from youngsters like Lester and Buchholz, the Sox should start to relax with the division lead. Their greatly talented offense is starting to kick in as well, with Papi finding his stride by hitting 3 homers and driving in 8 RBI's in the series sweep of the Brewers. The Red Sox are also going to need some help from their young batters in order to keep this sudden spurt they've had over the weekend. Ellsbury, Pedroia, Brandon Moss should serve some support, and Manny Ramirez is off to another great first two months. As of right now, Red Sox fans should be jumping in the air, as they are playing some of their best baseball this past weekend, then they have had this whole year.

Yankees young pitchers are better. Ian Kennedy is having a tremendous season, and Kei Igawa is better than Okajima and Matsuzaka combined

Judging by your hatred of the Yankees and by your second post chances are your a Patriots fan. So all I have left to say to you is.....................................................
