The NFL just gave the 2012 Super Bowl to Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Colts and Lucas Oil Stadium.  As a citizen of Indy, this will be the equivalent of when the Colts came to town.  Read about the implications for Indianapolis at Pro-Colts Stuff.

A lot could happen in that time. 4 years ago the Giants had the 4th worst record in the NFL.

Washington would be a good sight for the Super Bowl. I believe they are trying to build a new stadium that would probably have a retractable roof.
