Here's a little factoid about Yao Ming that should speak volumes about the man, not just the basketball player: According to my sources at NBA Cares, the social responsibility arm of the NBA, Yao Ming's public service announcement asking viewers to donate to the relief effort for the Sichuan earthquake is the only PSA currently being broadcast about the earthquake in the United States.
