THE SPURS

I know there down 1-0 now, but i still think they will pull it out. The Lakers could win Game 2, and I still think the Spurs have 3 things better then the Lakers that will allow them to win and maybe even win that fifth title in ten years.

1) DEFENSE: They held the Lakers to 89 points in Game 1, and thats after the Lakers huge second half. The Spurs are among the best defensive teams every year, which puts a point to the saying "Defense wins championships". Tony Parker and Bruce Bowen are among the best defenseive players in the league and you can't touch Duncan in the playoffs defensively.

2) THEY WIN ON THE ROAD- At least in the playoffs. They have the strentgh emotionally to ignore those thousands of screaming Lakers fans in LA and that will allow them to win at least 1 game in LA. They may have lost Game 1 there, but I seriously think they will take Game 2, not just winning it, but by an amount more than the margin of victory last night(4).

3) EXPERIANCE- This is the biggy. The Spurs have been down 1-0 before. Big Deal. The Spurs are playing in their 3rd Confernece Finals in the last 4 years. The Lakers are playing in their first since 2004. This is a younger team. Kobe Bryant is the only star with a considerable amount of playoff experiance as the Lakers have been booted in the first round every year since 2004, and they did not make it in 2005. The Spurs own this category, 4 TITLES IN 9 YEARS. Thats the best dynasty in the 4 major sports- more then Yankees, Red Wings and even the Pats, in my opinion. THE SPURS WIN THE WEST IN SIX GAMES

You are correct, the Spurs willtake home court away Friday, and go back to SA 1-1. You forgot to mention how exhausted the Spurs were last night, they just finished a 7 game series with the 2nd best team in the NBA, and have to step into a 7 game series with the best team (record wise) in the NBA. Let's see if they can get a day to rest, and come back Friday.

Spurs can do it!! Another mental breakdown but as you said, "experience will play a role in this series as well as defense." I can't believe they lost that 20 point lead!!! The Spurs are mentally tough to overcome this and I hope they will even the series tomorrow 1-1
