A third dream of consistency which has ben going on recently, I belive now the NBA has gone CRAZY. The first thing I saw in my dream that the NBA was still the top dog in basketball but there were other leagues following close behnid. Now, basketball has become more of a gambling sport, more then just a sport that was huge and family friendly. But now I focused my dreams on the court instead of the stadium and its fans.
Chris Paul was racking up MVP awards (4 total in 10 years) and was double-doubling every game...and he got a few triple-doubles along the way as well. He left the Hornets in order to play for a title contender team with a history. The Lakers. The tow rivals in Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul had joined for only two years before Kobe had retired strong and they had other stars in Adam Morrison and Raymond Felton.
Also the schedule for the NBA was shortened 10 games down to 72 but they lenghtened the resting time in between many sets of games. There were also 40 teams currently in the NBA. I gues they did it to refocus basketball into a college football type thing. Anyway, the great Celtics with the terrible three (Allen, Garnett, Perice) won three championships together. Then Garnett retired and Allen and Peirce won a fourth with themselves and the rising start Rajon Rondo (who was currently this years main NBA MVP candidate). So it looks like they always had a terrible three.
Also they allowed basketball teams to have no payroll to create some baseball type ideas. I thought these were good changes becuase of the other leagues fish-tailing them close behind. They had to make changes in order to stay the top basketball league. Also in basketball the USA mens team was still the best in the world followed by a few European teams as well. The NBA was still great as always. I also had a forecast that my next dream would be on the NHL.
