Foxboro, MA. Semi's. UVA is playing Syracuse. UVA jumped out to a companding lead. Syracuse came back from 5 goal halftime deficite in the fourth quarter. OT is dull until the end when it was steal after steal by both teams; but still no GW goal. Double OT, time was winding down in the four minutes a OT. It was about half way through, and Brenden Loftus scored the game winning goal. The score was 12-11. Dom Starsia (UVA coach) did get some moral relief, he got elected into the Hall of Fame. Hopkins downed Duke in the upset that came next at Foxboro.
