David Stern has announced that the league has planned to add a conference in Europe. I think that this would be a very bad decision. I believe it would lower the quality of players in the NBA. I understand that the league would like to globalize the sport and increase profits, however is it really worth compromising the level of play at the nba level? Also the sport is already a global affair, with several leagues around the world. The NBA takes the best Europe has to offer and therefore can expand their market, but to compromise the league's integrity?! I think not.
