The Atlanta Hawks are coming off of a very successful season last year that saw them land in the playoffs. The 8th seeded Hawks were put up against a very stacked Boston Celtics. The Hawks shocked the world and took the Celtics to seven games before Boston lit it at home. It is now time for the Hawks to step up even more and front office to do there job.
There are many possible trade oppertunities flying around the papers right now that are very interesting. Josh Smith who served as a very valuable but sometimes harmful player for the Hawks is being thrown around for players such as Antawn Walker and Josh Howard. If I was GM I would make one of these trades in a heartbeat. My lineup for next year and predictions:
Mike Bibby = 16 ppg / 6.8 apg
Joe Johnson = 21.2 ppg / 5.4 rpg / 5.2 apg
Marvin Williams = 12.2 ppg / 5.0 rpg
Antawn Jamison = 19.3 ppg / 8.6 rpg
Al Horford = 14.7 ppg / 10.5 rpg
Bench
Speedy Claxton = 4.9 apg
Salim Stoudamire = 6.2 ppg
Zaza Pachulia = 4.3 rpg
Josh Childress = 10.9 ppg
Acie Law = 5.8 ppg
Solomon Jones = 3.9 rpg
The Hawks could possibly be a very great team next year. I have high expectations for them next year and expect them to earn a #5 seed and get into the second round.
